Seismographic is an application that uses seismic data to generate music and visuals. The user can choose up to 3 different seismic sources and apply them to a variety of visuals and sounds.
The sounds are all based on the same scale to achieve a harmonious tone. Although different notes have different lenghts they follow mathematical rules that cause a basic rhythm and beat. By providing an application like this reams of compositions can be generated by earth tectonics.
